Known quirks

• search info — search_companies accepts a free-text name or an exact file number (1–10 digits). Result rows expose only name, entity type, file number, jurisdiction, and status — no address, no officers.
• search warning — Queries matching more than 200 entities are refused upstream with a 'more than 200 entities found — please be more specific' message. Adapter surfaces this as HTTP 400 — narrow the query.
• other blocker — get_company_profile, get_officers, get_persons_with_significant_control, get_shareholders, list_filings, get_charges, and all document endpoints return 501. Full profiles sit behind a paid territorial account with credit card on file; the service does not proxy paid purchases.
• routing info — The territorial backend is shared between Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Entities tagged as Nunavut were transferred to the Nunavut registry in the 1999 NT/NU split — the adapter maps these to inactive (the Nunavut registry itself is not reachable).
• status info — Status mapping: Active/Registered → active; Dissolved/Struck off/Revoked/Closed/Continued Out → dissolved; In Default/Suspended/Restricted/Nunavut Entity → inactive.
• other info — Guest search uses a short-lived anti-forgery token + session cookie, cached for ~4 hours and auto-refreshed on 401/419/422.
